Primary care helps identify high risk features early to help prevent disease such as stroke with the help of blood pressure management, and even cancer with the help of cancer screening tools. Your primary care provider is like a quarterback, coordinating complex care if required along with specialists such as cardiologists, gastroenterologists, general surgeons, Ear-Nose-and-Throat surgeons, etc. Our primary care providers treat adult patients, male and female.
Internal medicine comprises vast expertise to help manage already established disease, particularly chronic diseases such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), diabetes mellitus type II (DMII), ischemic heart disease (IHD) or coronary artery disease (CAD), chronic pancreatitis (CP), and various autoimmune diseases (AID). Your internist can also help diagnose elusive conditions that may have been a mystery up until then. Our internists treat adult patients, male and female.
Insurance based weight loss treatment allows visits solely for the purpose of tackling the chronic disease of Obesity. This may include an initial hour-long visit to obtain a full history, conduct a comprehensive physical exam, and come up with recommendations. Following visits will be scheduled to monitor progress and make adjustments to prescription medication, lifestyle, nutrition and supplements.
