How Telehealth Works at Synergy
Synergy Weight Loss & Primary Care provides telemedicine services only to patients who are physically located in the State of Texas at the time of their visit. All care is provided by clinicians licensed to practice in Texas.
Telemedicine visits are conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. A licensed clinician reviews your medical history, may order laboratory testing, and may prescribe medication where clinically appropriate. Completing an intake form or attending a visit does not guarantee that any medication will be prescribed. All treatment decisions are made by your clinician based on medical necessity and your individual health history.
Controlled substances are prescribed only where permitted under federal and Texas law and only where clinically appropriate.
Synergy does not sell or dispense medication. Prescriptions are transmitted to a licensed pharmacy of your choice.
Telemedicine is not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
